Pediatric Eye Ambassadors
Need a volunteer opportunity while you’re in medical school?
All Children See (ACS) is looking for medical students who are excited about pediatric ophthalmology. This is a great opportunity to engage with American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) members and to learn more about pediatric ophthalmology and the All Children See program!
A Pediatric Eye Ambassador will:
- Assist in reaching out to potential marketing partners to expand our patient referrals
- Share/post on social media about All Children See and share posts from the Children’s Eye Foundation of AAPOS social media platforms
- Report updates to the program manager at ACS@aapos.org
Program Goals
- Expand outreach and awareness of the ACS program among pediatric ophthalmologists and parents.
- Empower ambassadors with the skills and knowledge to communicate the initiatives of the All Children See (ACS) program.
- Foster a supportive and diverse community of pediatric eye ambassadors, providing opportunities for connection both in-person and online.
- Cultivate interest in pediatric ophthalmology.

What to Expect as a Volunteer
- Apply to become a Provisional AAPOS Member.
- Email acs@aapos.org so the status of your application can be monitored.
- After approval, you will receive an email with a link to apply as a Pediatric Eye Ambassador.
- A welcome page will appear after submitting your application.
- Follow the Children’s Eye Foundation of AAPOS on social media.
- Start sharing/posting on social media about the ACS program.
