Quality Database Project
Dr. Marshall Parks, a recognized founder of Pediatric Ophthalmology, was a meticulous visionary. For over fifty years he saw patients and their treatment records were kept on note cards. What resulted, after he retired from pediatric ophthalmology, was the most comprehensive repository of information related to eye disorders in children.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Parks family, these records have been digitized and can be searched. In subsequent phases of thequality database program, the records will be available for researchers to evaluate quality measures with the goal of identifying true measures of quality.
If you were a patient of Dr. Parks and would like copies of your medical records, please contact us. For all patient records requests, we require that a patient records form be completed and that a $25 records fee be paid.
