Champion for Vision Award – Jeff Todd: Prevent Blindness America
Jeff Todd, pictured center, is the inaugural recipient of the Champion for Vision award for his great work with Prevent Blindness America (PBA). The Champion for Vision award was developed jointly by the Children's Eye Foundation and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus to honor individuals or organizations that promote vision health in children and eliminating preventable blindness in children.
Jeff is currently the Chief Operating Officer of PBA. This organization was founded in 1908 and currently is the nation’s leading volunteer eye health and safety organization that is dedicated to fighting blindness and saving sight. PBA has vast vision screening programs for both children and adults, educates the public about vision issues, supports research, and trains vision screeners. Jeff has worked tirelessly to improve the quality of vision in America. Jeff Todd truly is a Champion for Vision.
